Warning-This Could Happen in Your Neighborhood

Jack and I visited a local Ruritan Club last week and Jack did an excellent job of trying to educate the members (about 40) on the dangers of uranium mining.

One of the members told me that VUI had contacted them earlier about putting on a presentation for them.

I told him if they did come, to remember that VUI was a multi-national organization, had millions of dollars behind them, had at least three highly paid PR firms, an army of lawyers, would do and say anything to convince the citizens that mining uranium would be a good thing for Southside Virginia.. Their presentation would be like a Hollywood production (which we can't afford) and they would probably offer them high-paying jobs (which they will never get). They would try to "Dazzle them with brilliance and Baffle them with BS".
