Due to the expected number of attendees, the meeting will be held at the FIRE Department building on Rt 57West about 3 blocks west of the Main St intersection with RT 57 (the only traffic light in Chatham)
The two measures include:
1. A proposal from citizens and SCC to contemplate passing a resolution supporting the current State of Virginia moratorium on Uranium Mining.
2. A proposal from Virginia Uranium, Inc. (a local corporation owned to a large extent by multi-national corporations) to immediately pass a resolution favoring the repeal and revocation of the uranium mining ban.
YOU, as a citizen / resident of the area, are requested to this critical meeting and make your voice heard!!
