Halifax Town and Orange County Vote for Moratorium
Orange County board of supervisors voted to continue the moratorium set by the state against uranium mining at their November 13, 2007 meeting. The vote was unanimous!
Additionally, on Monday, December 10, 2007, the Town of Halifax's town council adopted a resolution to continue the Virginia state moratorium against uranium mining.
