Residents of Spokane WA to vote on Community Bill of Rights
Proposition 4 – the Community Bill of Rights – seeks to
build a sustainable, democratic, and healthy Spokane by
addressing those factors that impact quality of life, local
economies, healthcare, neighborhoods, and other
community issues within Spokane.
Comment: Great work, we need to demand our county to protect us from uranium mining and milling in Virginia!

From: CELDF NEWS
Folks:
Over the past few years we’ve worked with organizations and residents across Spokane, WA, to formulate a Community Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights was successfully qualified through the petition process for this November’s ballot.
The Community Bill of Rights seeks to make Spokane a healthier, more sustainable, and more democratic city by recognizing and expanding rights for residents, workers, neighborhoods, and nature.
Here’s a link to the campaign website and a series of short videos of people in Spokane sharing their stories about the Bill of Rights.
