Uranium on the Cranium 2008
This appears to be an excellent blog on uranium issues in Virginia. I was particularly impressed with their mission statement (above). Their posting/comments "Manners" (below) are also noteworthy:

Ah yes, another politically correct Website for the pro-uranium group! Must not upset anyone, especially my Grandmother! Yes, my Grandmother will be reading over my shoulder and cursing a blue streak at anyone who claims uranium mining is now safe. Uranium mining has NEVER been safe and we do not have the technology to make it safe. I have worked as an editor within the nuclear industry and nowhere is there a bigger group of truth manipulators and outright liars than within the worldwide nuclear/uranium cabal. The deadly screw-ups among this crew rarely or NEVER become public knowledge. The movers and shakers within the industry are making TONS of money while taxpayers pick up the tab at their party. When it all finally goes bust, and eventually it always does, they walk away and we get stuck with the clean up bill that can never correct the deadly mess they’ve left in their wake. Why do you think the government keeps such a tight lip about the industry!? Murder is a capital offense. Uranium and uranium mining murders people and the environment; ergo, anyone who portrays uranium mining as safe is merely masquerading as a murderer, no matter how "polite" and "informative" their opinion may be, and this is exactly how sociopaths exist within our society. Uranium mining should be outlawed worldwide and classified as a Crime against Humanity, period.
