Two "Must-Be-There" Critical Hearings

Keep these two dates open as they are absolutely crucial in our quest to stop the death-march of the Uranium miners:

  1. Thursday, January 3, 2008. Pittsylvania Planning Commission will hear and review the application from "Southside Cattle Company, LLC" (wait a minute: I thought it was Virginia Uranium, Inc that was going to do this deal to us. Isn't that what Mr Coles told us in the press? And he IS the man that said .... "just trust us". What's with this other company, Southside Cattle? Are the cattle going to dig up the uranium, maybe haul it up in carts? I don't get it. Who's trying to pull the wool over who here?). See our "Links to Documents" section on the right-hand portion of this page to see the actual permit application.
  2. Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Board of Zoning Appeals reviews the action taken a week earlier by the Planning Commission.

Check back for times and meeting places as they will likely be fluid as the size of the crowd grows and grows!
