Conservation in Changing Times: Advocating for Legislative Success
Join Virginia Conservation Network and the Virginia League of Conservation Voters-Education Fund at one of our 2009 Summer Workshops. Come have dinner, meet Legislative Contact Team members and environmental leaders in your area, and learn how to build upon and increase the effectiveness of your legislative advocacy.
Speak for the Environment! Legislative Contact Teams are activists who volunteer as the conservation contacts in their home districts. Throughout the year these volunteers receive training on effective lobbying techniques, briefings on Virginia conservation priorities, and other valuable subjects.
